2024-25 Access to Justice Fellow

Stuart T. Rossman is a 2024-25 Access to Justice Fellow at the Legal Services Center, where he will consult with students and staff on complex case development, litigation strategies, and appellate practice. He will work primarily with the Consumer Law Clinic and collaborate with other clinics at the Center as other litigation-related opportunities and needs arise.

Rossman served for 24 years as the first Director of Litigation at the National Consumer Law Center (NCLC), a national non-profit public interest advocacy organization based in Boston. NCLC is dedicated to the representation of low-income and elderly consumers in the areas of consumer credit, affordable home ownership, and access to utilities. Rossman is a 1975 graduate of the University of Michigan, summa cum laude, and graduated from Harvard Law School, cum laude, in 1978.

The Access to Justice Fellows Program, a project of the Massachusetts Access to Justice Commission and the Lawyers Clearinghouse, enables senior lawyers and retired judges to partner with nonprofit organizations, courts, and other public service entities to increase equal justice for all.
