The Veterans Legal Clinic at LSC is excited to share that we have been awarded a generous grant from the Bob Woodruff Foundation, which is dedicated to ensuring that our nation’s veterans, service members, and their families have stable and successful futures. The foundation’s grant will enable us to prepare and publish a second edition of our well-regarded Military Discharge Upgrade Legal Practice Manual, which will help increase the number of advocates who are able to provide effective representation for veterans in discharge upgrade and VA character of service cases.
The Veterans Legal Clinic is partnering with the Connecticut Veterans Legal Center and Swords to Plowshares on this project. We are proud to be a member of Bob Woodruff Foundations #GotYour6 Network.
