On January 13, LSC’s Estate Planning Project hosted the first event in its webinar series, “Estate Planning for All: Making Plans for Your Health and Financial Future.” During the webinar, held in partnership with the Boston Public Library, staff members from the Estate Planning Project provided education to the community about important estate planning topics including wills, powers of attorney, health care proxies, medical directives, Supplemental Security Income (SSI) eligibility using special needs trusts, and MassHealth estate recovery. Attendees also received free one-on-one consultations after the presentation.
The first webinar was a great success, with 45 people attending the live webinar, plus dozens of others who were able to view a recording of the presentation.
