With significant experience in client-centered lawyering under their belts, the LSC students in the HLS Class of 2026 will be transitioning into a diverse array of career opportunities, including judicial clerkships, private law firm practice, and public interest law organizations. We encourage you to read about some of the newest LSC alums here, here, and here.
“The class of 2026 has made singular contributions to LSC’s justice mission,” said Daniel Nagin, Faculty Director. “We could not be more proud of or grateful to our students as they receive their degrees and enter the legal profession. At this challenging moment in the world, we are confident these newest HLS graduates will do both great and good things.”
“The Class of 2026 embraced the LSC curriculum with remarkable determination and enthusiasm,” said Julia Devanthéry, Director of Clinical Pedagogy and Curricular Innovation for LSC, and Director of the Housing Justice for Survivors Project. “They made the most of the first-chair litigation opportunities provided by each clinic and seized every chance to build strong, trusting relationships with clients using principles of client-centered lawyering.”
Moreover, the class “won impactful victories for their clients and made meaningful advances towards equity and access to justice for all in and around Boston,” she added. “We are so proud of them, and we look forward to welcoming them into the legal profession!”
“I am always thrilled to see the incredibly wide range of careers our students pursue after graduation,” said Destini M. Agüero, LSC Deputy Director and Director of the Estate Planning Project of the Veterans Law Clinic. “The sheer volume of civil legal service opportunities at LSC make it the perfect learning environment for students looking to explore new areas of law, sharpen existing skills, or be part of a collaborative multi-disciplinary legal office. LSC graduates are truly prepared for real-world practice—be it oral advocacy, negotiation, persuasive writing, or learning how to build rapport with clients who have experienced trauma.”
